Novelties regarding Spanish labour and social security legislation: parental leave, equality programmes, salary registers, workday registers, etc.
The aim of this update is to compile the main novelties in labour and social security legislation introduced by way of Royal Decree Law 6/2019, of 1 March, on equal treatment and opportunities for men and women for employment and at the workplace, and of Royal Decree Law 8/2019, of 8 March, on urgent measures for social protection and job work time insecurity prevention. These include, amongst others, novelties regarding parental leave, equality programmes, salary registers and workday registers. Please note that although they have entered into force, they are still pending approval by the Spanish congress.
