On July 11th, the Fourth Congress of the Lawyers of Barcelona<\/strong><\/a> took place in which Alba R\u00f3denas Borr\u00e0s, Lawyer at AUGUSTA ABOGADOS and Professor of Private International Law at the University of Barcelona, participated as speaker presenting the \u0093Tools to protect Heritage according to Private International Law<\/strong>\u0094.<\/p>\n

It is undeniable that lawyers are up to date and know what are the basic tools offered by internal legislation; but nowadays, more and more, personal, heritage and business relationships have an international component, forcing lawyers to step out of that comfort zone and go to international normative, which is often unknown.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the presentation was to explain, prevent and resolve the conflicts that arise at an international level in matters of heritage\/patrimony law and in relation to marriage economic regime and succession law; matters that, although sometimes do not seem to, they are inseparable. The presentation was oriented to practical cases, in such a way that the applicability of this subject could be seen.<\/p>\n

The result was a success, people were very participatory, and many doubts raised were resolved. Therefore, we could say that at the end of the day, the main purpose of the presentations organized by the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB), was accomplished, which in this case, the purpose was to promote the internationalization of lawyers and promote professional integration into the global world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
