Augusta Abogados has achieved the best results in its history in the 2026 edition of Chambers Europe, one of the leading international legal directories, further strengthening its position and expanding its recognition both across practice areas and at individual level.
In this edition, the firm reinforces its presence in the rankings with notable progress and the addition of new practice areas. In particular, Employment stands out, reaching “Highly Regarded” status at national level and improving its position in Barcelona to Band 3.
The firm also consolidates its recognition in key areas. Restructuring/Insolvency remains firmly positioned in Band 2, while Dispute Resolution enters the Barcelona ranking directly in Band 3. In addition, Corporate/Commercial regains its position in the rankings, and TMT: Data Protection is recognised for the first time.
One of the main highlights of this edition is the publication of the first-ever Transportation ranking by Chambers, in which Augusta Abogados is listed as a recommended firm, among only nine firms recognised across Spain.
At an individual level, several of the firm’s professionals are once again recognised. Notably, Juan José Hita moves up to Band 3, and Sergi Giménez enters directly in Band 2 in this new Transportation ranking. Alicia Herrador Muñoz (Band 2) and Sara Iglesias (Star Associate) maintain their recognition in Restructuring/Insolvency, alongside Jaime Fernández in Dispute Resolution.
