Augusta Abogados joins Rodolfo Fernández-Cuellas as a partner to promote the area of corporate law & innovation. Fernández-Cuellas is a renowned lawyer of Barcelona who has developed most of his career at Miliners Abogados y Asesores Tributarios, a firm of which he was co-founder and head of the corporate & innovation area.
Fernández-Cuellas is a Doctor in Law (Phd.) and Academic of the Royal European Academy of Doctors (RAED), as well as a professor at ESADE where he co-directs the seminar on corporate law. He has also developed his career internationally, being a member of the International Practice Group (IPG), where he chairs the Ethics Committee. He is also member of ItechLaw where he was chair of the Arbitration & Mediation Committee.
Rodolfo Fernández-Cuellas has extensive experience as lawyer in corporate M&B, corporate conflict resolution, real estate law, international transactions and national and international arbitration. He has also advised the creation and development of start-up companies and technology & innovation companies, both Spanish and international, in their development in Spain. In his academic aspect, he is the author of several monographiess and doctrinal articles on corporate law, arbitration and internet contracting. He has been president of the Corporate Law Section of the Barcelona Bar Association and he is currently vice president of the Association for the Promotion of the Arbitration and Mediation.
The integration of Rodolfo Fernández-Cuellas to Augusta Abogados implies an important milestone in the growth and consolidation of the area and the firm in general, whose objective is to be one of the benchmarks in the area of corporate law and M&A. This area will be co-led with the partner and lawyer Sergi Giménez Binder.
