New Club Augusta session with Sebastian Ross, President of the Spanish Foundation for Conscious Capitalism

Sebastian Ross, manager, entrepreneur and president of the Spanish Foundation for Conscious Capitalism, visited us on 21 May to give us a talk on the content and scope of the project.

The main pillars of Conscious Capitalism are:

  • Higher Purpose: Money is not the ultimate purpose of the organisation, but a way to achieve a purpose.
  • Conscious Culture: A people-oriented culture and collaborative versus competitive values.
  • Conscious Leadership: The leader at the service of the team and not the team at the service of the leader.
  • Stakeholder integration: systemic perspective of all the agents involved. Conscious business cannot be a free-for-all.
