Sebastian Ross, manager, entrepreneur and president of the Spanish Foundation for Conscious Capitalism, visited us on 21 May to give us a talk on the content and scope of the project.
The main pillars of Conscious Capitalism are:
- Higher Purpose: Money is not the ultimate purpose of the organisation, but a way to achieve a purpose.
- Conscious Culture: A people-oriented culture and collaborative versus competitive values.
- Conscious Leadership: The leader at the service of the team and not the team at the service of the leader.
- Stakeholder integration: systemic perspective of all the agents involved. Conscious business cannot be a free-for-all.
