Directive (EU) 2019/1937 on the protection of persons who report breaches of EU law

By 17 December 2021, Spain, as a member state of the European Union, must transpose Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of 23 October on the protection of persons who report breaches of EU law (known as the “Whistleblowers Directive”) into its domestic law. This directive seeks to protect Whistleblowers who, in the course of their work, report irregularities and/or acts of corruption.
